Welcome to the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Cancer Imaging Research Center (EBIRC)

The EBIRC at Washington University School of Medicine actively pursues research in big biomedical imaging data that can be applied to population cancer research.

The Division of Public Health Sciences and Siteman Biostatistics Shared Resource runs and supports these efforts.

We collaborate with multidisciplinary investigators in cancer imaging including breast cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, among many others. As a group we aim to develop transparent, robust, and replicable epidemiological and statistical methods for cancer imaging data and disseminate open source software and user-interactive interfaces to aid clinical decisioning, long-term risk prediction, and inference.
